REVIEW OF "THE JOGGER"
Julie Simone's videos are unique in that, unlike the rest of the producers
and directors in the commercial bondage field, she did not have the same
early influences that affected the rest of us. Consequently, her videos are
a sincere reflection of her own personal interests and tastes, and
refreshingly different than virtually everything else currently on the
market. Her individual stamp in all her videos is the importance she places
on involved and intricate ropework, a tight and stringent style with strong
Shibari influences, yet distinctively her own.
"The Jogger" is remarkable not only for the use of this style (which she
somehow managed to direct while thoroughly gagged), but also for her daring
use of location. We're treated to exterior scenes shot, presumably, in a
park with the electrifying possibility of discovery at any moment. Ms.
Simone also gets tied, gagged and put into a car trunk (always a favorite),
dragged through the hallway of a residential apartment building while bound
in a duffel bag so small that you'll wonder how she ever fit into it, and
she also endures strict ties on an apartment balcony, with the sounds of
nearby construction in the background. These scenes are powerful, bold and
singularly effective.
Julie is also put through her paces in a notable bathtub sequence, and she's
forced to be a human candle-holder (twice), the latter showing her real
dedication to her art and her fetish.
As a model, Ms. Simone has sophisticated, fashion-model looks not frequently
seen in women of this genre, further enhanced by our awareness that bondage
is something she personally enjoys. Her on-screen presence as the
damsel-in-distress is engaging, exciting, and (when a candle unexpectedly
falls over on her) sometimes quite genuine. It's a performance not to be
missed.
Julie Simone's voice is independent and distinctive, and her videos truly
deserve to be discovered by more people. I would recommend her videos for
anyone looking for bondage entertainment that's anything but average.

Movie Review of "The Jogger" from Julie Simone Productions starring Julie
Simone with music by Katie Jordon.
"The Jogger" delivers almost an hour and a half of entertainment, almost as much as a feature length major motion picture from Hollywood, though I
didn't want to see it end. It continues to build throughout as scene-by-scene it grows more intense. It concerns a beautiful young women
(Julie Simone) grabbed while jogging one day by her escaped-convict ex-husband who holds her captive for the weekend as he toys with her and
tortures her in a series of scenes in which she continues to get more naked, be tied tighter, and tortured harder than the previous scene. I
will never forget the piercing shriek she lets out when in one scene a burning candle balanced precariously on the belly of her naked bound body
falls spilling fire and hot wax. There is chloroforming, hand-over-mouth gagging, rope bondage, tape bondage, knife play, hot wax torture, a bound
and bathed scene, and more. Julie has managed to weave a lot into one movie.
I don't want to give away too much of the movie, but let me just say that the bondages are very clever, very innovative, very restrictive and very
tight and the torments mix a sadistic cruelty that finds self-satisfaction in its imaginativeness with a pathos of the relationship of the characters
having been former lovers, with the cat-and-mouse play of dominance and submission.
My thumb (and some other things) are way up on this movie. I can't wait to see what other delectations Julie Simone Productions has in store for us in
the future.

"A bondage tour-de-force, "The Jogger" combines a damsel-in-distress
storyline with creative bondage positions, tight gags and erotic torment galore. Julie Simone is the star and producer, portraying a woman tormented by a man from her past. From the outdoor abduction sequence to the stringent final tie, "The Jogger" has lots of compelling sequences, many of them using Shibari Japanese-style
ropework, intricate and strict. The gag work is also excellent, including a John Willie-style tape gag with packing, rarely seen nowadays. Ms. Simone is lovely and appropriately distressed throughout the film. Two thumbcuffs up!"

Review- Gregor, "The Jogger"
The jogger is not your average bondage film fiasco. It is not only an insight into the beautiful and provocative Julie Simone, but it is also a serious and convincing study of human drama between an escaped convict and his estranged wife.
The film starts out predictable enough, but quickly moves into a drama between two former lovers. What unfolds is the calm, plodding, predictable mind of an escaped convict paying his wife one last tormenting visit. The wife, Julie Simone, spends most of her time bound and gagged, but by just her moans, groans and struggling (and yes, those probing eyes) she pulls off an amazing acting feat by becoming an integral part of the story. She plays a strong person, whose mind slowly submits to her ex-lover, not by the forced bondage, but by her growing compassion for him and his plight as each bondage scene progresses.
The male actor who plays the convict delivers his character in a slow, methodical, cool, creepy style. The chemistry between these two characters is mesmerizing and as the movie progresses, we are drawn into their story. Unlike so many fetish films, I never saw them out of character. The result is a totally believable story that leaves you feeling strange and a little off balance, as if you have been privy to a personal and erotic moment in the lives of two people at odds with each other one final time.
The actual bondage is awesome with lots of intricate shibari style bondage. It is obvious that some of the ties took hours to complete. If you ever wondered what Julie Simone sounds like (her voice is sweet and feminine) and want to see her more exposed (body and soul) than practically anything on her website, this film is not to be missed.

Directed, Produced and starring Julie Simone
It's not easy to create a plot when you want to demonstrate a variety of bondage ties and torture scenes. "The Jogger" follows Julie Simone as she is captured (while jogging), and then bound, gagged and tortured in a variety of positions and ways. The ties are very tight and intricate, requiring a great deal of rope, of which Julie seems to have a neverending supply. Not much dialogue for Julie (gagged), and not much action for her either (bound), but that's to be expected in the bondage video genre. There's plenty of hot dripping red wax, a bit of knife play and loads of rope rope rope. Julie's sincere blue eyes deliver a captivating performance with her most pained and pleading expressions, whilst her body contorts and struggles in a variety of artful ties and positions. Who will save her? Why don't you rescue her? This is a must-have for bondage fetishists - rescue yourself a copy today!

Just another kidnapping video? I don't think so! Julie's got some great elements in her version of the "kidnapping the ex" story. The first attraction of the video is the captor. Not only is her male star a phenomenal
bondager, he's actually an attractive, charismatic villain. That probably doesn't mean much to the male viewer, but speaking as a female bondage fan, let me say that it is very, very rare. I've seen more unattractive men manhandling pretty bondage girls than I'd like to remember; and Julie's bad boy is a very nice change.
Once you've got the players, it's very tempting to take the easy way out with some very basic damsel in distress. Julie doesn't do that. All of the positions are intricate, and, in most cases, a visible strain on Julie. Julie's never been the simple tie, roll around on the floor type, and it works in her favor. In one scene, she's tied out on a terrace, balanced on one leg. She doesn't have any choice but to balance -- she's far too bound to fall over.
Her captor sums up this video well, "I'm trying to create art here," he says, lighting the candles he's precariously tied to her. He's not just your everyday psycho, he's an artistic psycho. (Two-dimensional baddies are so boring.)
Another thing I really enjoyed about this video is that it's a nice live-action companion to the early days of the website. I've been a fan of Julie's site since day one, and it was a nice surprise to see all the familiar ties (like the bathtub set!) in a whole new context. She's been sitting on this hidden treasure far too long.
